Worship

Worship is central to the life of the Church.

Our churches in Aberlady and Gullane Parishes are active, open and welcoming to those of all ages and at all stages in their faith journey. We have been linked together for over twenty-five years and though we have separate locations for Sunday worship there is also much that we do together.

Throughout the year we offer a variety of Services.

Morning worship at Gullane is at 9.45 - 10.45am

and at Aberlady at 11.15 - 12.15pm

These Services are led by the minister.  Coffee, juice and biscuits are served after both Services, at Gullane in the Church Centre, and in Aberlady in the Sanctuary in the Church.  All are welcome to stay.

Once a month we will continue to run Sunday 30 in Aberlady Kirk Stables. This is a shorter, more informal Service led by the Aberlady Worship Team and runs from 8.45am - 9.15am. Again this is followed by coffee, juice and something tasty to eat.

Throughout the year we also have some All-Age Worship Services, in which young and old participate throughout, and at which our combined adult and children’s choirs and our family band often perform. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated four times a year at each morning Service and also at 6.30pm in Gullane.

We hope that as you join us for worship on a Sunday you will find a warm welcome.
